All proceeds from this event will go directly towards the Mark R. Reckling Scholarship and will be awarded to students who have participated in the Waukegan to College Program. The Waukegan to College Program supports and prepares first generation students to pursue post-secondary education.

The recipients of the Mark R. Reckling Scholarship will embody qualities that Mark possessed, such as being hard working, driven, kind and humble. This scholarship will carry on both Barb and Mark Reckling's legacy and invest in the next generation of leaders from their hometown, Waukegan.

In Mark and Barb's honor the Grand Foundation will award $10, 750 over four years for a total of $43,000 to each scholarship recipient in honor of Mark's tenure of 43 years to his beloved company, Grand Appliance.

The Club at Strawberry Creek

Built in 2006 in Kenosha, WI, The Club at Strawberry Creek is a beautiful golf course designed by Rick Jacobson. The property, as the title suggests, is built on a former strawberry farm. It features rolling hills, a challenging set, and native prairie grasses. Strawberry's link style course hosts many events, including the 2012 Wisconsin State Amateur. It is one of the most playable and well conditioned courses in the Midwest.
